newb quest: Hondata tuning

newb quest: Hondata tuning
I was just wondering how user friendly Hondata is and which one should i use for my current setup. my goal is to hit 12's maybe 11's if its streetable. please no flames. Thank you

hondata is not really user friendly it has to be tuned by a good tuner with the hondata tuning capabilities, preferbly on a dyno. for your all motor setup i would get the s200 cause you can always add options for different upgrades (i.e turbo, nitrous)

Wow, you are way off.
I had no idea what I was doing when I got my HOndata and I had no choice to learn myself because of that. It is VERY user friendly. I was completely lost at first, but you can search on H-T and find most everything you need for information.
Dyno tuning is best for WOT only!! If this car is driven on the street, street tuning it is best
Even you you bought the older 2, 3 or 4 system, it can still be upgraded no problem. So if you find one used at a good price, go for it.
Otherwise, I would stick the newer S200 version.

Correct, its own PROGRAMMABLE ecu. Fuel, timing, AC, boost cut, rev limits all are controlled by the Hondata software program. You use a stock ECU and socket it for use of Hondata.
