97 type R question. Need answer quick

for a 1997 ITR, Is the entire exhaust pipe stainless steel? Is it the same as the 98, 00 and 01?

I believe they are all the same for itr's. The piping is not shiny if that is what you are asking. Not sure if it is mild steel.

stainless steel? I don't think so, I've seen the piping rust if they get scratched up.

Different grades

The JDM 4-1 is stainless steel but its covered with surface rust.
