I am considerin ordering a Amuse Lip from TeamSpugen........wondering if anyone has ordered from them, what luck did you have, and how did the equipment you ordered fit.........

 

I have not ordered one of their Amuse style lips, but my GF bought an exhaust from them. It was priced well and the customer service was excellent. They've got a good reputation on the other s2k board.

I got a Spugen lip for mine and it matches pefectly with the stock paint. Has little gaps on both ends but from what I hear all Amuse and Amuse replicas do.

Anyways Duc is a great guy. Spugens a great company.

nope, they really don't. the knock offs do. but it is a piece made out of FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic). the fit is very similar and the actual amuse vs. fakes are very difficult to tell apart unless you have them right in front of you.

 

Actual Amuse did have the gap problem. It is well documented all over S2KI.

I recently bought a Koyo radiator from Duc and I was very pleased with the transaction. The price was good and he got it to me very quickly.

real amuse actually seem to have more fit and finish problems then the spugen ones. spugen ones have been known to have good fit and finish.

 

As far as exhaust goes....it looks like they have a great selection. I am wanting a dual outlet system, but do not want it very loud. I just wanna get a deeper sound for a good pur at idle and smooth sound taking off. Anyone got suggestions, because the only thing I have heard in person is a Spoon single outlet, and it was way too loud for me.......

 

Suggestion:

Check out the new group buy. The duals are far more quiet than the singles. These new titanium dual mufflers are supposed to be more quiet than the previous exhausts. I will hear them today so I'll post on my impressions.
