Need undercar pics of underaxle exhausts
I want to have a local muffler shop make me a custom exhaust and I want a free flowing underaxle with an angled N1 type muffler. Any pics? preferably in an EH3 so I know how to route the piping

I've seen exhausts like that. The pipe just goes down from the header and UNDER EVERYTHING in a straight line then it has a slight bend for the muffler angle. I have no idea how people live like that with their car lowered. It is reeeeeally close to the ground on the one's i've seen.
also, i wouldn't want to run the pipe like that because it will gradually heat the fuel... at least the OE routing is around the fuel tank and has some degree of heat shielding... hot fuel = hot a/f mixture = bad

Fuel gets heated anyway, up until the brand new cars the Honda engines all re-circulated fuel off the fuel pressure regulator. Its only cold when you start the car. Not while already driving.

I know the fuel re-circulates from the fuel rail in the engine bay, but only a small amount of fuel does this at a time. That is like taking a gallon bucket of water and heating 5 drops of it then putting it back in the bucket. Running your exhaust under the fuel tank is like putting a flame under the bucket.

Yeah, I had that RSR Ex Mag GT exhaust on my Civic. I drove continuously for 4 hours on a hot day, and suddenly the gas tank exploded!

couldn't you weld a thin piece of metal, say (1/4") or less to the very bottom of that angle so that it would go have to go through the metal plate first... more time before you get an exhaust leak...
