ideas for camber kits for the BB6

why do they all suck? can't we get one designed a la DC2 Skunk2 style?
the ingalls 3558 doesn't have enough clearance. the ball joint types will bully your fenders, it's pretty frustrating to me, especially seeing how easy the sliding hex bolt design is.
so here's my novel idea. a la king motorsports, i'm going to try and grab an UCA from a junker, cut off the end and weld something like the skunk 2 setup on. the question is, of course (aside from the integrity of the UCA) the ball joints. Now, i don't know DC2 or civic parts all that well, or even the stock size of the thread/taper in my BB6 ball joint setup, but i'm thinking you guys would know if there's a compatibility issue, and what else i'd have to look out for.
maybe i'm being overly sensitive about the nature of the SPC and Ingalls kits, but i've been in too many cars with knocking camber kits, and i think it's pretty damned irritating.

I've had the ingalls in front(ball joint) and back. No problems at all. No knock or any noises or clearence problems. I've had it for almost 1 year now.
