Default D16A6 CRX Si Troubleshooting questions

I have a 1990 Honda CRX HF with a D16A6 engine. New radiator(Si), new water pump and belt job, reman-ed Si knuckles, reman-ed Si axles, new 2" pipe, new cat, headers, aem cool air, new dynomax turbo muffler, new intake manifold and new throttle boddy (both factory), and new brake master cylinder.

The engine sat for more than 3years in my garage. It has low mileage (I think 35K~long story)

Question: There's white/gray-ish smoke coming out of the muffler. Idling seems ok. All emission components intact. Temp Perfect. I looked at oil cap for any "white stuff" but it looks clear. So I have no reason to believe that head gasket needs replacement. Engine R&R was done two weeks ago(Oct 10).

Could it just be water condensation? If it is, how long does it normally stay that way. I am worried because I want to pass smog.

Please Help!!

Did you add new gas and let the old one burn out?

I had a full tank of gas before R&R, then I had half of that by the time it was done (I guess the guy drove it around for tests). Then I finished two tanks already by now and I can still see smoke everytime I dog the rex. I mean, I just punch the throttle once in a while and I always see this smoke coming out. even my cousin noticed it.

Good question...my coolant seems fine but i am probably buring oil because of this:

The last time I checked a week and a half ago (after I had my mufflers done) my oil level is at 50% on the dipstick. Then I checked again last Monday, and it was around 30% on the dipstick. The weird thing is, when i added one quart of synthetic oil, it's back up to 100%. Very weird.

Long story short. Coolant OK, oil a bit unsure.

did you check the oil after the car had sat for a bit?

Either way sounds like your burning oil..
could be rings, pcv valve, valvestem seals...to name the easy ones..

I believe the shop did. They flushed it and put new oil. The guys at the shop told me to flush the engine after 500 miles and put a 5W30 oil and "Restore".

You think I am burning gas? I hope it has nothing to do with piston rings because I am all broke. It is a low mileage engine after all.

I hope your burning gas...If your burning too much fuel, the smoke would be black, oil has a bluish color, and coolant should smell sweet..

Restore is a temporary fix...if it works..
