z10 radius rod kit works fantastic
I just installed the new z10 kit on the 95 LS and it makes a tremendous difference in steering response. I had to do a little troubleshooting with the kit due to an interference problem when using the 11" ITR caliper upgrade, so z10 sent me a kit and I figured out how to fix the problem.
The steering is so much more responsive now and the front end is much tighter. No more wandering with the rain grooves. Steering input is a little harder, but I like it better than the too easy power steering. Feels like my manual rack Civic, but with the faster ratio of power steering. If you're looking for better steering response and feel, this is the way to go.

Only thing to do is trim the under engine cover in a couple of places. I elected to drill the center mounting brace hole in a different spot, only because I didn't want to chance hitting the AC condensor. Wheels with more than 40+ offset may allow the tires to touch the rods at full lock.
With the R&D I did and picture taking it took <3 hours. Without any mods to do, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours max.

hey good deal.
I hear a lot of good things on the hybrid board, but dont see much input here on the Z10 kit.
let us see them pics! -enjoy your new steering response!

I know this guy with the Z10 kit on a 2001 type r and he told me that he still breaks axles with them at the drag strip. I'm wondering....
wazzzup wit dat?
wazzzup wit dat?
Can't say, but if he's breaking axles it sounds like he needs to figure out how to get the tires to haze instead of loading them at launch. Fastest starts are always acheived when the tires are slipping just a bit...
hey fastbrakes, hit me with an email and I can host the pics on my homepage.
