Hey guys, alright i pulled to a stop sign and i push the clucth in and notice that the clutch is very loose....so i tried putting it in gear and it would not go in. No matter how hard i tried it would not go in gear. So i turned the car off. tried putting the car in gear once more and the same thing happened...so i slam it into 2 and it stays...i turn the car on and it made the most horrible noise i have ever heard. i rev the hell out of the car and drop clutch and after that it drove like a beauty. i also noticed that when i popped the hood there was some sort of fluid near the engine code...what could have happened?

 

anyone help me out? car runs fine now. but i'm just curious on what the hell happened.
