looking to buy del sol in the next 2 weeks. what should i look for? i plan on a swap asap when i get it so im not worried about the motor. definatly needs to be 5-speed. i was wondering are they all wheel disk brakes? or drum? how would a 5 lug conversion work out? what would you guys recomend for me?

the si and vtec models have rear disc but the s model does not

 

i say find a manual 93 S, its the lightest since you're planning on a swap. all you'll need to do is find some rear discs =o)

 

check the seals on the roof while ur checking cause 94 and before have had water leak issues with it. plus with how much weather stripping it can be costly to replace. also check for accidents the car has been in since the body is more suseptable to being bent since the frame isnt as strong. lastly if it has ac check to see if the condensor is working because they are prone to going bad. other than that its good to see another sol fan good luck

Thanx, yeah, occasionally there's some nice cars. Far and few between.

I'm in dothan, but i've been to Mobile several times. (just not recently in my car)

 

i would definatly buy but have to sell my 2000 si first. if you wanna trade......my payoff is 8000 if your interested. im very interested and its worth a trip to al for me. let me know what you think.
