Hey guys(and gals) i have a quick question.
I have a 91 legend, and it seems that heater control switch only goes on hi,I tried everything,i even asked the tech's at the honda dealership i work at.(no help at all)..I'm not the greastest semi-tech there, but thats why its always good to ask.Still i spoke to the acura parts dept'and the told me its a little core thingy thats located inside the blower motor,i cant find it...so can anyone please help me locate the thing there talking about???( i need my heat in minnesota)

I know when the blower went bad on my 88 legend there were two solenoid looking objects located really close to the blower motor itself(under the glove box on my 88). You might want to look into what those two things control(they could be resistors or have something to do with the flaps in the air box), if you want to actually open up the blower motor it is a total pain in the ***!!! I bought a brand new one(blower) from autozone for $38.00

MN winter!

The blower motor resistor is usually mounted on top of the blower housing. Removing the glove box makes access easier. It will be sitting on top of the housing with a couple of wires on it and mounted with two phillips head screws. After removal, a visual inspection will leave no doubt if it's burned up.
