the itr climate control I received had a broken heat control cable. I didn't think anything of it until I pulled out my stock climate control. It appears that the cable is on there pretty good between pieces of plastic.



see what I mean? I have a feeling that I might break the plastic if I attempt to swap those cables out. What can I do...

It won't break, i pulled it out before too. You might want to switch out just the front face unit and the fake carbon fiber surround, or else the heater control cable will be on the opposite side, and won't reach.
