Need advice...I have 2 3rd gen. tegs...sell one? keep one? sell both?...
OK, here is my story. I have two integras and am at the crossroads in deciding to dump some money into them or not. One is a 98 LS, loaded with 80,000 miles on it...all stock, runs fine, no problems just some cosmetic stuff like door dings and scratches from living/working in a city. This one I bought new and still owe probably about $7-8000 on. My other teg is a 94 LS (both black with tan interior) also with all the options. This one shows its age more than the 98 ( obviously) It has 150,000 miles on it, maintained religiously with every record on file since about 20,000 miles. So this one runs well also with more of the typical rattles and squeaks of a car with this many miles. The 94 I bought cash from someone I knew a few months ago, so I own it outright. The 94 is also begining to show some of the typical honda rust in the normal spots (wheel wells particularly). I was thinking of getting rid of the 98 and getting something else, simply because i am making payments on a car that is not worth the 19g's or so it was originally. Both car are used daily( the woman uses one). The reason i would keep them both is the unmatched reliablity and the fact that there are a million options as far as parts, both OEM and aftermarket...not to mention that longblocks sell for less than a grand.
Well i just wanted to throw this out there and maybe have you guys bounce some of your opinions off me. The car was always a daily driver so i could mess around and put my $$ into my others toys...but those are gone now, Thank you Sallie MAe. thanks for your input fellas.

You still owe 8 G's on a 5+ yr old car w/ 80K miles on it??
Man I don't know what to say to that, I don't think anyone would buy it for 8K, so I dunno.
Where do you live? I have nearly 150K on my 94 GS-R and no rust at all.

lol, no point selling the 98 pretty sure you probley pocket 1-2k max (if any @ all) you other LS probley worth 3-4, if u sell both you'll only pocket 4-5k.... so i guess if i were u, get rid of the 98
Im not saying im trying to pocket a bunch of cash on the cars, I was just wanting somthing else. I was thinking that if im paying a couple hundred bucks+ a month id be interested in something else most likely. As far as what I owe the 7-8 was just a guess...the car is in my girls name (but guess who is making the payments) so i dont have the balance or info in front of me...it may be more like $5-6 but again im not positive. I also gave a quick look on autotrader and saw that cleans LS's were going for $7-9ish, so who knows...
