Default mpfi swap complete...code 4

I completed my mpfi swap and it runs and sounds really good. I just can't figure out why I am getting a code 4 (crank angle sensor). I checked the five times and I know I got it right. And yes I did sauder and heat shrink all conections. I have it wired like this: c1-blue/green, c2-blue/yellow. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this. My car only revlimits to 3k rpm with the check engine light on, so I havent really got to feel the power difference yet and its driving me crazy! Please help!
Thanks

Have you reset the ECU? And it still comes on?

Not that I know of. I'd say the dizzy is wacky if everything else is correct.

make sure the pins are in the ecu really good, i mean the actual pin itself the crank angle sensor is on pins b10, b12 org, wht. you need to check those! c1 and c2 are cyl position sensor thats something different, and will throw i different code..

i had the same problem before, when you hit the gas it hits 3000 rpms, then bogs, bogs, bogs, and doesnt go any higher,

check the tps sensor, make sure you reversed the wires as per spec, the green and yellow ones must be changed, also checkout you have no leaks on that new intake manifold and that its tight......checkout to make sure you have all the injectors in the right order - red/yellow/blue/brown, and the injector resistor box is properly wired in......

code 4 - usual suspects - camshaft timing is off or you have a bad distributor - OBD0 does not have a limp mode

Had the same problem last week. It was the repin job on the ecu. Everthing looked ok but there wasnt connection on those pins. We replaced the dist and the cyl sensor before finding this out on us .
