Default What is a B18cR? Is $900 a good deal for this motor?

Just playing. But since I got you attention now....

My car has developed a really bad sputter. The car has a new dizzy, fuel filter and I recently replaced the main relay. The car is fine at idle and only does it at medium tthrough high throttle. until about 3k RPM. Any ideas guys? I'm stumped
TIA

This may sound simple, but have you checked your spark plugs and wires? My car had the same problem about a year ago. I changed the plugs, and it ran perfect.

Did you set the timing after putting the new dizzy on?

I don't have a timing light right now, but the problem was present before the dizzy was replaced. I replaced it because the car wouldn't start and there was no spark. so I swapped the new one in. But I do plan on setting the base timing as soon as possible.

I've had a similar problem when switching from a PM6 ECU to a PG7 ECU.... The PG7 causes a stutter and the PM6 is perfectly fine....

I was thinking the same thing. Now if somebody has a similar problem and they do a search they will never find it.

My lower radiator hose was leaking like a sieve awhile back. When the coolant got low, the car would bog at low RPM's, but it would run normally if I gunned it.

Added anti-freeze and the problem stopped...until the antifreeze got low again...
