I bought some 90-93 integra seats for my CRX. I know they can fit into the CRX with some modification, but I was wondering whether anyone had a how-to or some helpful instructions on doing this.

I know it will involve swapping parts of the rail(s) and drilling new holes/fabricating some brackets. I am aware that the 88 seats are different from the 89-91 seats, but I am not sure how.

Any ideas?

I am having some serious trouble getting the seats to line up properly... the integra seat rails are lower on the inside and the crx seat rails are lower on the outside so the seat sits up too high.

I am about to make a run to home depot to buy some metal and bolts to see if I can fab something.

Swap the rails.

 

The rails cannot be swapped because the hinge is PART of the rail on the integra seats. In addition, the inner rail mount on the seat is lower on the integra seats and higher on the crx seats so there is space to compensate for.

Regardless, I got them installed finally. I will post some pictures up tomorrow.

The only problem is that the integra seats are shaped differently and sit about 1-1.5" higher than the CRX seats. Not a problem, but I definately notice the difference.
