whats a good size TB for this set up, i dont want to go too big because i hear that could be bad for the motor. any one got input on this?

I would say in the neighborhood of 66mm.

 

how much can i bore a stock TB from a gsr?

 

Spoon bores the 62mm ITR throttle body to 70mm, so I would guess that a 60mm GSR TB could be bored to around 68mm.

 

Well it's a tapered bore that ends up being the stock 62mm at the opening. I dont' think you could bore stock 70 all the way through. Most recomend about a 4mm overbore to be the most.

 

Mr. Milano is right, the spoon is a tapered bore that starts out as 70mm and ends at the stock ITR's 62mm.

If I recall correctly, there was a guy in the classifieds section offering his boring(<--haha) services. I think he could bore a GSR out to 64mm and an ITR out to 66mm. It was something close to that

 

will i see much gain if i bore out my stock gsr tb? or should i just get an aftermarket one..like 65mm or 68mm?

 

i have a 65mm gsr bored tb. Dident really do any good....
