how stiff or soft do you want your front suspension on a 400hp full race car, i was thinking that you would have it close to stock or maybe a little bit stiffer, and concentrate on the shock settings to get the best traction, but i have no experience with it... what works best? i did search and couldnt find much of anything

 

Get some Penske's and a nice wheelie bar setup and play with your springrates w\ track testing. There isn't a 'right' answer...every car is different.

ya, i was just wondering if there is a general direction most people go as far as stiffness.. its a little different for me because i have to play around with different torsion bars, not too much fun to change and more expensive...

 

You need to convert to a spring on Strut setup...

 

really? i have heard both ways... some say stay with torsion bars, some say what you did... do you have experience with mid 80's honda's or torsion bars in general?
