ss would be more comfortable because of the softer spring rates. http://www.tein.co.jp has all your answers.

i just viewed the tein coilover chart. From the chart, tein flex gives a more smoother ride than SS and HA. SO i think i found my answer. If u don't agree please give ur opinions. Thanx

Now the best deal i found online was 1319.99 shipped from http://www.prostreetonline.com

SS would ride the best out of the 3 choices. Don`t worry about that HA`s, they are not available anymore. And 95% of this board would never need the Flex.

Also, I`m about $85 cheaper on the Flex than those guys.

If you want a comfortable ride, stick to stock or go w/ koni.
I have the SS and their ok... its not as comfortable as people say
in my opinion, but everybody different. Just my 2cents.

I have Tein HAs and I love them. Pretty stiff but tolerable for daily driving.

No they don`t. Tein does not import them anymore for eg/dc/ef/ek/etc

If you get HA's they have to be sent to Tein Japan to get serviced. If you get SS's you can get them serviced here.

HA's have helper springs and a slightly stiffer spring rate.

You can order the same spring rates (For 200 bux more) from Tein for the SS and you will essentially have a HA (technically). And buy your **** from Ryan.

Alright.. I got a question..

Super street vs Flex:

What advantage does the flex have? Don't they both have the same adjustability (besides Flex being compatable with the EDFC). Why would one pay ~$450 more for the flex? Would it benifit in autox? Or just major pro road racing and stuff... Are the spring rates the same?

I had this same problem when I was deciding over my set up. I ended up getting the Flex for my 92-95 hatch. It's not as smooth as the SS but it's barely noticable. I came from a skunk2/tokico illumina set up and this makes the flex feel like a stock ride. The flex comes with the upper pillow, which the SS don't come with. That's the only other difference I can think of that no one mentioned. My neighbor gots the SS and he wishes he got the Flex.
I can beat 1319.00 if you're interested let me know. PM me
