Default what lugs with TL studs?

I ordered the TL studs for my '91 teg this week and I also wanted to get new lug nuts. I need to use the thinner "tuner lugs" with my wheels so I ordered a set of gorillas like these:
It never occurred to me though that these lug nuts might bottom out on the TL studs since they're longer. Do I need to have open ended lug nuts with these studs? Or will the gorillas work? TIA.

Hello Tyson,

How can you answer this without knowing the thickness or depth of lug holes in the wheel hub pad on his wheels?

the thickness from the inner face to the lugnut seat is usually the same, at least for all 4 different wheels ive put on my crx. my TL studs and gorilla/mcgard lugnuts are the same dimensions as pictured, and thread in perfectly, leaving just about the exact space you see in those thin little end caps.

FWIW, I use the TL studs with my Kosei K1's and I was able to use a "long" closed-ended lug I bought at Advance Auto. I have since replaced them with open-ended lugs, but I would imagine the McGuards will work fine.

I saw you mention that in THE "wheel stud thread". They had the same part number as the rear TL's and cost the same at acuraautomotiveparts.org. But you get more of a cool factor using parts off a TL than a gen1 teg.

Anyways, now that we've established I'm a ricer, thanks for the info Tyson. I was a little worried there for a minute that they wouldn't fit.
