Here are my huge selection of issue's

My car no matter what is being painted in 2/4 weeks. At first I wanted champ white then I thought, NA WAY TOO played out, then I went and found myself a custom bronze/grey mix that I really liked. Then I though it be a dope colour but im not sure how it will accent the c/f hood and upper wing and not to mention that its also a show car and that. Bronze really doesnt stand out at a show. SO I though some more and decide to go ITR yellow like the original spoon eg.

My car already has a ton of spoon goodies with more to come. MY oem itr seats are sold and Im getting my red jdm recaros this friday. I have my mint rims now but REALLY want to step it up to the sw388's as that will flow with the whole spoon civic theme. Then Im also forsure gonna splurge and get the Takata harnesses.

I really dont know what to do so Im wondering what any of you think. Like how does a yellow itr/civic look with red recaros and the green belts, would it look that much better to just paint it itr champ white. OR just go bronze. I really dont know. I think I need to hear opions. Its sad when I think of a fkin set of 4 rotas for the price of one real spoon rim but its about quality with me. Actually 4 rotas are chepaer then 1 spoon rim (hahaha)!

So please opions are totally welcome and the more, the better. Either way its gonna be a spoon style civic. it will still be full drag ready and show ready and it will be in magazines after the work is finished. I jujst want the best and I jump from day to day and it REALLY sucks!

What would you guys do? what colour, what about rims, seats and harnesses???????HELP HELP HELP

Im not gonna paint the c/f hood or the mirros or the rear c/f spoiler. But thanks for your opion! To me, thats like getting rota rims, sprayin them flat black and calling them spoon rims

 

im also on this champ white or phoenix yellow choice..... its a tough one. im leaning more and more towards phoenix yellow... so i say go white

but do you want clean.... or clean + alot of attention?

 

I hate to say it, but I think CF and White is like the original mix, seems like everyone wants white and black look.

IMO (not that it matters much) your car from seeing it in person, would look stunning in a gunmetal or dark grey. Ive always been a fan of the black and cf mixture, and I think a lighter gunmetal/grey would bring that effect out big time! Not to mention, red and green go with grey/black, before they would with yellow..

I've seen your car around and i like the white on it.. CW would get my vote, i haven't seen much CW in ottawa, except on ITRs. this bronze color sounds pretty cool too

 

If you think CW is played out, Yellow is worse.

Do something different, not unique but different from most.

YA, there is alot of yellow as well but not yellow spoon eg's though. There is a flow to this show

I dont know. either way its gonna be for me and its gonna be super clean. I guess I have to wait for more replies and 2/4 weeks and oh oh. It goes to the shop!

If it was me - and i luve your car by the way.

If ya got the money get mugenmf10s or circuit 8 as an alternative in a bronze.

Then have the car painted Rasberry metallic.

like this almost but more metallic and a tad brighter red..


But if ya really want bronzish ... this is the closest thing ilike IMO -

imo, it would look pretty fcukin pimp in s2k silverstone with the SW's, cf hood and cf wing.

 

Ill check out that s2k color and I cant get mugen rims even though I love them as well since the car is pretty much spoon(ed) up. It wouldnt flow at all!

That red is super sweet but im not down!

 

I like the way your car looks in those pictures. Nothing is better than a clean white car, doesn't matter what white it is in my eyes. If your going to do a color change, do something you want and that you won't get tired of. My buddy has a yellow eh2 and he says he wishes he never did it.

You're worried about fronting Rotas as SW388's, yet you only want the SW388's for show? come on man that's even more

 

be original kenny... white and yellow are nice, but they are done..... i'd keep your rims, and paint it that bronze/gunmetal colour you're talking about, kinda like the colour of the supra above.....

 

Kenny, go the green colour on this hatch. It's about a few pics down. White and yellow are too plain. Gunmetal is nice, but alot are going to that colour.

Kenny! I have told you before and will tell you again STAY WHITE!

I know that having that different look is what your going for but I find that all of these fancy colours get faded out by end of summer. I would say stick with the Chapionship white and continue your spoon theme. It will look very good with new add on's and all. Red Recaro seats, spoon wheels and the carbon fiber will look really nice.

A deep, chocolate brown would look sick as hell...but I don't expect you to do anything that I suggest, so good luck with your "decision".

Man, I wish I had so much money that my biggest hurdle in life was chosing between paintjobs and expensive rims.

You ever think about getting the real Spoon paint job? With the blue front and yellow back?

I personally would go white over yellow...

im just saying I'd rather see a color matched hood than some CF to show off it's lightness

To whoever said Im gettibg spoons for show. AH no. Ultra light weight and a beautiful rim to those that know what they are! The quality doesnt get better then them!

To all the Ontario peeps, I dont wanna stay white though. Sick of it. I think im 100% on yellow just cause you may see yellow cars but not that many are done nicely and clean. Just something different and new to the area.
