Alright guys i have been doing some serious thinking lately. I know that i want to sell my coupe. Its a 1998 ex. Its a great car, but its occupying so much $. Im hoping to get somwheres around 8500 for the car. At first i was thinking financing a wrx, but i really want to stay in the honda fam. they are so tuner-friendly. I am now seriously thinking about an eg hatch. With that 8500 beans i could have a pretty sick hatch! The pics you guys have posted have def convinced me. I am thinking of doing a gsr motor and simply doing I/h/e with some minor exterior work (champ white paint job, si rims, cf hood etc.)
My main concern is the swap though. I am estimating about 4,000 for just the parts. I can get the labor done for nothing, so do u think that is being realistic? What are some decent places i should be checking out to buy the motor? i know it is USDM so the shipping couldn't be that bad. Alright well thanks for the help, let me know what your opinions are.

well u can do plenty to the hatch w. that kind of money...i say get a b18c5 and put that in instead of the b18c1..swap is pretty much straight forward...searh the forum and u'll find the info u need..w. 8500 u can def build a nice looking 13s sec. hatch..gl..find one w. no rust spots..trust me..:
