I don't wanna post pics of my car in the pic thread so it can be buried in 12 pages of pics. Why not just leave how it was post a pic of your car if you want too. I was told this rule was to clean up the EF forum and leave more tech oriented and what not, but if you start getting all picky then any TECH talk should be in TECH. Any APPEARANCE talk(or pics) should be in APPEARANCE(which is where I was told my pics should go) If I wanna see EF's or you wanna show me yours then we should be able to just post a pic in the EF forum like the other forums. If EF has it's own rules it should disband and form http://WWW.ef-tech.com

 

Every forum has the same rules about posting car pics...

 

I think the EF mod is really good about allowing pics as long as SOME SORT of tech is involved. even if its just questions about your set up- I say leave it the way it is- keeps this part of H-T clean.

 

Where is the rule in the ITR forum?

 

Is a new lip spoiler tech it adds aero(supposedly), but it is probably just for appearance if I just post a pic of my car and say I got a new lip does that count as a valid post.

 

I personally wasn't offended by your EF wagon post-
to post a pic with a new lip, just add a couple lines on how you installed it. there you go- you get to post your pic and let others, who might be planning on getting a lip, know where you got it, see how it looks and find out how it was installed

 

I think that the EF forum has cleaned up a lot in the past few months... The traffic in here isnt as high but i can find exactly what I am looking for with minimal effort... to Keith

 

yea I agree the way it is setup now it keeps the traffic down. just think if everyone in those twelve pages made a seperate thread showing their cars there would be alot of clutter on this board.

i used to hang in the eg forum all the time and that forum moves soo quick and new posts are up all the time, it would be cool if this part of the forum had rules like tom does,

post a pic post once every 90 days, it keeps them down from pic post ****** and it also lets ppl show off there car/new exterior mods

 

Has anyone tried to use the pic post lately, even on high speed some of the pages are rediculous. Not to mention that about half the pics are down. I already voiced my concern to a mod, and was told that the rules will not change and that we will not get a new pic post (I asked about a thumbnails only/links+ one pic only rule to make it useable for peeps on dialup).

I like the pic post. If you don't want all the pics to load, just check your h-t option to show pictures as links and click the ones you want to see. I personally can't stand someone posting a bunch of pictures of their car every 5 threads.

Frankly, the ITR forum is a glorified Members Corner. The mods of this forum will never allow this forum to dip to the level of the ITR forum, period. If you don't like the way this forum is run, there are 30+ so other forums to visit.

This thread is going to be locked since we do not need to re-hash this discussion. This discussion was made in the past and rules were set. I get very, very few complaints from the regular members of this forum, so I do not see a need for a change.
