Default If it were not your money! Quaife, Kaaz, or DC5-R lsd in your usdm tranny?

As the topic says, I need an lsd. Which is better as far as all motor goes with say @220 to the wheels. Very little drag racing (but some personal competitions might be encountered.) With a light weight flywheel and good clutch...remember cost is not the option but please only recommend one out of the three. Thanks in advance. Also I do not want to have to service the thing, out of sight-out of mind if you know what I mean.

When you say a "little drag racing," is that in addition to autocross or circuit racing? Drag racing only, I'd be awfully tempted to go with a spool or welded diff and spend the extra money on more tires. That won't work at all on an autocross course (trust me) and most of the options would probably be better on road courses.

well, if you're not gonna auto-x the car, and will rarely drag the car, just get the quaife or OEM lsd.

i don't think that kaaz has an application for the k20 trannies yet.

if you were hardcore auto-x or road race, you'd want a clutch type diff for sure. the rebuilds are worth it for the gain in performance.

OS giken would be my personal choice with money being no object.

If you are not going to use it for competition, save some money and get the jdm LSD.

if youv already have some cash for it, sell your stock trans, and buy a jdm dc5r trans that hase better gearing, and a lsd, it will probaly be about the same as buying a lsd and paying to have it installed

Thanks man! I will let you guys know...I am hoping to have installation free or actually have a day off when me and the installing tech can put it all in at the same time. I am trying to find a good deal on a JDM DC5-R flywheel as well.

Cusco or Kaaz is what I'm looking at. (Hoping that they have an application for the K-series soon.)
