Have any of you guys found a good place to order carbon fiber hoods from? Preferably ones that you have ordered from and trust.

Also, I have only seen like 3 carbon fiber hoods for the 4th gen ludes.. oem, vis invade and evo. Are there any others out there?

VIS actually offers several styles of CF hood - OEM, Invader, and Evo to name a few like you mentioned.

I've heard nothing but good things about Fiber Images and BKNW hoods also.

Check Ebay...they seem to sell the different types of VIS hoods there.

 

I've got a extreme gt cf hood which came from vis as well. Fits great and looks good. there's a pic of it on hpoa.org. search for it

i was saw an aerogear hood, and fell in love with it, but i'm not sure if it is carbon or not
anyone know?

I haven't order a cf hood from him but he has an excellent reputation regarding cf hoods. I ordered my Lovefab manifold through him and it was a pleasure dealing with him.

 

Way Son http://www.impactparts.com It has a different weave than most of the others. I have a "plain weave" and the others use a 2x2 twill. The 2x2 twill looks like diagonal lines which I don't really care for. Also the plain weave is 1/3 of the weigth, 5.7oz/sqyd and the 2x2 twill is 19.7oz/sqyd
