I plan on getting an X-brace for my S2000 soon, just wanted to know if any of you out there have any of these X-braces on your S2000's? The DiGrappa brace is expensive, but probably the best of the bunch, Spoon brace quality from what I heard is very good, but oil drips on it when you do an oil change, and the Mingster brace..well it's cheaper than the Spoon and slighty heavier, but beefier...let me know if any of you have these braces and what you think of them... thanks..
i'd go for the digrappa if i had the cash (~$450) and if it didn't bump me out of AS (it does). it's a nice piece from what i've seen and is supposedly far stiffer than the other two.
Mingster's X brace = Import Development, Inc.'s X brace

So Ming, how much can I get this X-brace from you? And since i am also a member of S2Ki, can i get a discount?...heheheh...let me know the going price for your X-brace... I might be getting a good deal on the spoon one..

we already have the best priced x brace in town. $180 is the price.
and the name is Richard, Ming is my last name.

I have the Spoon X-Brace and I enjoy using it. I would've gone for the DiGrappa X-Brace, but it was a little more expensive than what I was looking to spend. I've heard great things about the Import Development X-Brace, so all three are great choices. I really got the Spoon mainly because of the name and that it was at a good price at the time. If I didn't get that I would've definitely gone with the Import Development one that Mingster provides. Hope this helped out a little.

Hey Jaykkub, just noticed your list of mods on your S2000, and you seem to live in San Diego also, wondering if I could check out your S2k since mine is bone stock for now..would really like to check out you s2k!!!
Sure, sounds fine to me. Where do you live in San Diego? I was at the S Games this past weekend and noticed a Silver S2000 with an exhaust (what appears to be HKS), a huge tach, Spoon rims (at least thats what they looked like), and it was lowered.
Mine still looks stock for the most part, only noticeable difference is the sound of the Exhaust. I really like the sound of the exhaust...its a must if you plan on modding the car.

http://www.inlinefour.com has the X-Brace for $216.00...not too shabby. I guess they're starting to carry S2000 parts now. Does anyone know if the Spoon thermostas and thermoswitches along with the radiator cap from the B-series engines will fit onto S2000's?
