Change in the starting habits of my scoota...
Before:
Press left (front/rear together) brake, turn key, hit button.
After:
Hold right (front only) brake, turn key, hit button. Or, use kick start in conjunction with left brake.
What could cause this to change? Kind of a pain in the ***, but I can deal. Unless it's a big problem. Could it have something to do with the weather? Or the wearing of the brakes? I'm stumped.
edit - vehicle is a 2003 Yamaha Zuma 49cc.

his bike doesn't have a neutral. and I don't understand what you're asking. what happens if you do the same thing as before? does it not start or something?
Yeah, it's like a Vespa. 49cc 2-stroke, CVT, 45mph.
Ivan, when I do the same thing as before, it won't start. Not even a cough, or a whimper from the starter.
I'm fine with starting it with the other brake, or the kickstart, but I just want to find out why something works one minute, but not the next.

if you try the other brake and electric start, does it start? my guess would be an electrical problem. I need to hear more.
