Default lDC5 ECU?

I was thinking about how the mileage is digital and was wondering if it is stored on the ECU or somewhere on the chassis. If it's stored on the ECU, can it be reset or taken off? Or those who have done an RSX engine swap, does the mileage of the ecu come up or the mileage on the chassis?

Yes it is in the cluster,
As far as I know on the 04-Accords and the new TL's if an odometer needs to be replaced the dealer can input the mileage they need it to be. Only in a new unit though. Most of the new Acuras have no replacement parts for the guage clusters now. They are all one piece units. LED's and all.
