I was thinink of buying some d16a6 pistons for my d16z6 for it but 12:1 is too high. what can i put to make 10:5:1? or where i can find a d series compression calculator?

I would be asking myself "Why am I trying to put high compression pistons in my engine when I don't want high compression?"

You can buy some 10.5:1 pistons...or you can go with the a6 pistons and have them machined so they're not as severe.

IIRC, the d16a1 pistons CR aren't as high. You could also mill the head.

A6 pistons will not be 12+:1 compression. More like 11:1

buy the srp 10.5:1 pistons. higher compression and forged for any sort of forced induction u could do. if u dont wanna spend that much loot- get the a6 ones. could mill the head, i did mine .020 of an inch, raised my compression from 9.2 to around 9.6.

Milling the head increases compression. Look into studying it before you spread any more misinformation .

that's why he said to mill...cheap way to bump compression
