Default The latest edition to our turbo family

My Dad and I picked this T-type up for $800U.S. It was just the rolling chassis. Paint was majorly faded but absolutely no rust anywhere (the floors of the car look so clean). So we pieced together this car all summer long. We had a spare 10sec combo kicking around so we dropped in that motor with a T66 BB turbo, DFI, 83lb injectors, 212cam, Precsion front mount etc. Also had a spare tranny that was beefed up with good parts and a 3500 stall converter( the whole drivetrain is basically new, exhaust , downpipe, fuel pump aswell). After the motor was in we sent her out for paint and through on a set of Convo pros rims. The interior was a bench seat which we pitched for some buckets and new carpet. The car looks damn good now. I took some pics this morning of the sled. I changed the starter out last night for a light weight one (hence the jack stands). This car should run mid to low 10's with no problems. It was a long project for us, but driving the finished piece down the street with no glitches or hang ups feels like the biggest accomplishment I have ever done with any car. So now thats 3 GN's between my Father and I that run 10's.
