Great Deal?? Crane Cams Firewires for $39.99!!!
I needed some new plug wires, and I stumbled across a great deal, I think...
At optauto.com they have Crane Cams Firewire sets for the B16 VTEC in their clearance section for $39.99!!!
http://www.optauto.com
They retail for like $150...
Is this a good deal??
They are trying to get rid of them, and they only have stock on hand... so if you want them you better hurry...
They only have yellow and blue left...
So I got BLUE...
The rest of the applications are in the CLEARANCE section.... (Other HONDAS)
Just a heads up... The Page for the BLUE for B16's:

Here is some info on them, that I found on the web:
An industry first: Crane’s All-New FireWire® Features the Lowest Resistance Spark Plug Wire Sets Available
With ever-hotter ignitions producing arc-welder type spark, only the ultimate wires will allow each timed spark to reach its accurate destination. Crane Cams, an industry leader in camshaft, valve train and ignition componentry, is now able to provide spark plug wire that has instantly set the standard by which every other manufacturer will be gauged.
Crane’s FireWire® Race Plug Wires feature extremely low resistance – 25 ohms per foot! That industry-leading mark – 40% to 50% less than comparable wires – means the delivery of maximum spark-gap energy to the plugs for more horsepower, torque and RPM. This new 25-ohm core in FireWire® also actually filters out RFI and EMI noise generated by today’s high output ignition systems.
The inner workings of the new 8.5mm, double-silicone Crane FireWire® feature a fiberglass-integrated Kevlar™ inner core for conductor integrity and maximum strength and flexibility. A double jacket of silicone surrounds the core to protect against such underhood enemies as high temperatures and abrasions. And, the all-new FireWire® Race Plug Wires also feature high performance pure silicone boots, capable of heat resistance of up to 550 degrees!
It sounds like it may help my alternator whine in my stereo system...

Run the stock wires. Aftermarket m=wires make no sense esp on a near stock motor. Some of the fastest Honda's are making quick passes on the stock ignition.
Waste of money lus I don't have very much nice things to say about Crane parts. I've seen the results on a few motors.

The only reason, I even considered them was because it is time to replace them... and they are the same $$ if not CHEAPER than stock wires....
I got them and installed them, my engine starts up right away and runs much smoother now
i bought them to go along with my NGK V Power spark plugs=good match
