Civic SI bumper covers...
Does anybody know if the 88-91 Civic SIs front bumper covers included holes for fog lights?
Looking at putting brake ducting, and while the IT rule book allows you to cut two holes to make air intakes, the honda challenge rules force you to use EXISTING holes in the bodywork.
Since the DX bumper cover that I now have has no holes for fog lights, I am trying to see if I can snag me a SI bumper cover, providing it has the aforementioned fog light holes.
thanks.

If it's anything like the CRX bumpers from that era pop off the bumper and look on the other side of the skin.
Although the CRX had no markings or indentations or anything on the outward face of the bumper skin, the other side had dashed markings illustrating exactly where to cut out pieces for installation of the geniune Honda fog light kit.
In my book these are no different than the fake air intakes in the 90-91 CRX bumpers. They weren't existing openings, they just looked like 'em from a distance.

good enough for me. I'll take that puppy off and take a look-see. I've got all kinds of saws - surely one of them will do the trick...
