I SWEAR I looked up the shizz that I could through search first. But my 97 gsr has that nasty header rattling noise somewhere between 3-4k rpm... in 1st gear, it lasts the whole 3000's range, at 2nd its a little smaller, and the higher the gear, the shorter the rattling lasts.

From my information gathered, it seems like what happens is that the interior piping in the a-pipe starts rattling against the exterior piping?

I'm not interested in hammering or welding my current header, but I've seen some people just shell out 50 bucks for a cheap replacement header, like a newer stock gsr one. But GSR's are notorious for having this problem, so won't getting a newer stock header only be a temporary relief?
I don't really understand this...
What other "cheap headers" can I get to replace my current exhaust manifold cuz the rattling bugs the hell outta me. ?

Sorry this question's a lot longer than it should be... basically, WHAT ARE SOME NON-RATTLING REPLACEMENT HEADERS AVAILABLE FOR LESS THAN 100 BUCKS?

my 95 gsr rattled like a ****, i took all the heatsheilds off and it still did it. i bought a 99 gsr header used off of ebay for 21$ plus shipping. i just used the top part of my old header and threw on the 99 a pipe. stoped my rattle. i hope it holds up.
