Default Doing my own Hondata style IM gasket

I´ve looking at the hondata IM gasket, and seems like it is made from plastic material, similar to teflon. Does anyone think I could build one, using the stock one as a mold?

Dont tell me to go buy the hondata gasket.....it is quite difficult to import it to my country.

If anyone wants to help, I would also like to know how thick it is.....

thanks a lot in advance!

Mhmmm, problem is, there aren´t many turbocharged hondas down here, I bet there are no more than 10 turboed cars in my country.........there is no market for producing them......I just want it for myself, and thought it could be easy to construct.............

I think the biggest improvement is by blocking coolant flow into the intake manifold, isnt that right?

I think its the material and thickness of the manifold that cools the temp so much

I've heard that you don't have to but you SHOULD get some extended bolt studs.

I think honda has them from what another h-tech guy told me. Does anyone know where to get them?

I actually think that its more of a nylon or polypropelene material...
Not so much teflon... just go to a plastics supplier and look around, you'd be surprised what you'll find...

Just make sure it's heat resistant. (and maybe oil resistant too?)
