no a d series tranny will not bolt up to a b series block, and 2, yes the b16a1 has vtec, its a dohc 1.6l with 160 bhp stock, the b16 came in either the jdm crx or iteg. i think the a1 is from the integ and the a5 is from the cr-x but i could be wrong.

You're still wrong.

B16a1's are from EDM Civic EE9 and CRX EE8 VTi's.

B16a's with a 1 million code are from JDM DA Integra's, and B16a's with a 5 million code are from JDM Civic and CRX SiR's.

I might have the 1 and 5 million codes backwards, though.

 

No, you're right my DA6 B16 is in the 1 million range.
