why pr3 head instead of gsr 4 integ type r
yo anyone knows why honda picked the pr3 head over the gsr head for the integra type r? i'm just wondering cause i need to know which head to use for my ls/vtec...
they did not want to use the gsr manifold, and rather use the lighter single plenium manifold,
different in combustion and intake runners,
if your leaving your stock buttom alone and not boosting then your better of using the gsr head, so you have a higher comp. ratio.

bottom end is completely built with gsr girdle, eagle rods, and 11.0:1 pistons. but hey i heard the gsr head flows better then the pr3 head and makes more power. can't i just mill the head down to get better compression?

11:1 comp. ratio using which head, before you did all this you should have decided on which head to use, as the combustion chamber is different on both heads, deppending on piston p72 head might not work for you.
which head flows better? that is an argument that will never end, imo it all depends on whos porting the heads, tunning the motor.
i personally like pr3 heads,
