nothing wrong with Neons...a stock turboed 4-banger puttin out 215 whp is a-ok in my book anyway, id drive an SRT-4
and apparently they prefer sittin in the grass wating for trophies rather than driving around cones
some people really need to set their priorities straight

I love the classic z's even though they rust I still love them!
but as far as the neon yeap is aimed toward the sport
compact scene cause of all the imports have the market cornered.
but they are not reliable as imports
not only that the value drops to pennies.
and those are some reasons that I dont buy dommestic.
and to those who hate

If I had 20 grand to spend on a new car. I would SERIOUSLY consider a SRT4. As far as bang-for-the-buck goes it can NOT be beat. Reliability ... therein lies the problem. Dodge holds 5 out of 10 slots on CR's list of used car not to buy (or at least they used to). I do question their ability to build a reliable turbo 4.
If that failed I'd spend my 20 grand on this:

They're not all idiots. I am a ClubSi member, and have been for more than 3 years and almost 3000 posts.
I stick in the norcal forum, though. Bunch of great, close and smart people. Don't generalize because it does pertain to more than one of your HT peers.

As for the SRT-4, I know a dude with an 03 that busted a 13.8 bone stock on factory tires!
The 04 SRT-4's are dynoing at 240+ WHEEL hp and over 270 lb-ft!!
