What tires did you have before? More grip = the car will follow the road better. There are slight imperfections in the road that cause the car to feel like it's pulling, it's natural.

well this depends i had some 16's w/ yoko es100's and for the first couple months when i slowed down to about 15MPH sometimes the wheel would just jerk left or right, and it still happens in parking lots and what not, but i figure its just the larger tire surface area
Like the guy above said, most likely tire surface causing 'pulls'. 205's are pretty wide, big big difference compared from your normal 185's. Any slight groove in the road and I immediately start to feel a pull.

I just sold my Accord and got a 95 DX to replace it, and it has 205/55/15's on it. Its VERY .. uhmmm.. 'darty'. I never owned a Civic with aftermarket wheels on it though, but my old CX and EX coupe never was like this.... at times its almost dangerous it seems! I'm slowly getting used to it, but its still kinda annoying.
I had it aligned and the only thing he couldnt correct was the -1.5o of camber on the front (.5 out of reccomended honda spec).

i agree. sometimes i feel like i'm swerving(sp?) and start getting all paranoid that a cop might think i'm drunk

...did you lighten the lug nuts too much? 80ft lbs. if you over tighten your rotors warp and you car and wheel shakes when you hit the brakes... if thats your case
I doubt alignment is an issue unless the alignment was ALREADY off and you were running some really squishy tires beforehand.
Like others have said, if you are going from a taller sidewalled, more squishy and narrow tire to a lower profile tire with more contact patch it will expose any flaws in your alignment.
Again it's not normal to have to get an alignment from simply changing wheels and tires, but if your car feels like it's pulling then you should get an alignment.

yeah but its not like it pulls one way... it pulls BOTH ways... I don't think its possible for your alignment to be out BOTH ways?!?!

If your out on the highway does it pull all the time or is it just sometimes? If it's not constant then it's not your allignment. I have the same size tires on my civic and it pulls hard at times, depending on the road surface, imperfections.
Sometimes if it catches you off guard it looks like your drunk lol

It's called performance tires.. Just putting some different wheels on your car will not mess the alignment up TOO bad. You'll get used to it, but you might want to check the tires(i assume they are directional tires) because they might have put them on wrong. Meaning the tires might be on backwords. It would pull a lot worse if they were.
I can vouch for the imperfection in the road causing such behavior. I have noticed that not having power steering doesn't help with that either as it makes it easier for it to follow the imperfections that wanna pull you into another lane.
Hell...sometimes if I hit a reflector thing in the middle of the road, it'll jerk the steering wheel one way or another. Kinda scary though when it first happens to you.

contact patch causing greater sensitivity.... It was really weird going from my truck to this car, and the first time it happened it freaked the hell outta me.
about the warped rotors...... would the car shake when applying the brakes all the time or just at high speeds? My brakes are great but sometimes slowing down from 85+ mph i get the shakes rpetty bad. (and yes i know it's not safe or smart to drive that fast so please lets keep the comment technical as opposed to moral.....) thx

Welcome to the world of a FF car. Yes, with better tires, the car will tend to follow the lines and grooves in the road more. Its just one of those things about having a FWD car. If it does it really badly, get your alignment checked.
