Rush the setup=Dead motor
Spend time=High power/long living motor

In other words when you rush you cut corners that you shouldn't cut.

I learned that the hard way!!! Now now need to rebuild the motor after bang bang..

Don't use the v-afc hack (they say its good but it aint) and go with Hondata,
Thats a start but it all comes down to how much power you want???

It's going to cost me about that to rebuild the motor but it should be pushing some big numbers after.

It's going to take months but i cant wait.

where did you get the headgasket from? I talked to Stan at Inline about 1 month ago and he said that for my b16 the headgasket will lower it to like 9:1

i was under the assumption that the 3mm headgasket lowers comp. 1pt It will prolly be right around 9:1 on a 10:2:1 b16a, but mine is 10:4:1 stock..

max rev BOV'S SUCK ******* AND LEAK

and chipped ecu's can do anything hondata can. there are MANY 500whp cars running them. remember...there is a world out there beyond honda-tech

max rev kit with different BOV
and then get a CHIPPED ecu, since it is JUST AS GOOD AS HONDATA</TD></TR></TABLE>

I don't think maxrev makes kits anymore, I have a friend running their kit and the bov is fine. Also chipped ecu's aren't for everyone, im not dissing them at all but how many 500+whp cars are there on hondata compared to chipped ecu's?

Can you be more specific?

I assume you have the del Sol VTEC with the stock B16?

You have an Inline Pro 3mm Headgasket
ARP Head Studs

Which t3/t4 turbo are you running?
What piping?
Which equal length manifold?
Did you make the map you are using in Hondata or is it a baseline?
Do you have an intercooler? If so, which intercooler?
Which wastegate?
Which BOV?

Details are key here.
