Default roll cage in DC-2

My friend is selling his autopower roll cage from an ek. He was goin to give it too me really cheap and I was wondering if it is worth putting in the teggy. It is a bolt in kit 4point with the crossbar and harness bar. I might even have it welded in, but i am not sure if it will give it the same structual rigidity (as it is for an ek civic)???? any comments
