well i got my 89 crx with a zc motor in it and an extra a6 that came with it....
the a6 was completely rebuilt 5000 miles ago and i have all the paperwork for it and i was wondering how much i could possibly sell this motor for? i have no idea on the pricing but i know i have 1500 dollars in reciepts for the rebuild

 

Ive seen the full swap go for around 500 bucks, motor tranny 350 or so. I wouldnt imagine the motor to go for more than 250 or so, but since its completely rebuilt you may get more out of it.

 

I am assuming that you got just a longblock and the tranny is bolted to your zc so ask 450 for it and let them know of the rebuild and supply the receipts if they go lower down feel like your being llowballed cause it is an a6

 

ive bought three A6s within the past year for $100 bucks each. but i would ask 250 for yours since its rebuilt

 

i figured i would ask 400 obo

for the price it is way better then any other a6 out there imo

i mean i do have the 1500 in receipts

 

$400 sounds very fair

On a side note, what would a D16A6 longblock that goes through about 1 quart every 3000 miles be worth? $100?
