what is this motor called?

is this a good motor?

what type of HP to the wheels could i expect in a 91 rex, 2.75" exhaust, and CAI

It's called a "Chopsuey", like a stir fry mix. Difficult to tell what hp numbers youre looking at because you cant start a motor without TB, intake, flywheel, ecu etc. these are key ingredients to in producing whp.

I wouldn't use the GSR pistons or the B16A head. Unless these are the parts you have. You'd be better off just building a GSR motor.

it's called a poorman's type r....i'm running one right now.

not a good ideo with gsr pistons....mating the head directly to the block lowers the compress .2....so bump it back up with b16 pistons or similar. with those mods expect 180-185ish to crank

Use higher comp pistons, and you'll be set.

Everyone is right, get pistons. At least B16a pistons. I would go with those or P30 or JDM ITR pistons.

yes but cast iron pistons can only take so much abuse and ull hafta pull them out later so if ur going to boost get some forged pistons, do it right the 1st time , no shortcuts
