Default Anyone in CT..I need some help w/ mt b-series...

I am looking for anyone who is possibly a Honda Technician who or has expertise in the B-Series to help diagnosis some of my small problems. I will pay for their time because I just want the car fixed and would prefer not to get raped by a dealer. LS/VTEC OBD-0 in an '88 Accord

Problems:
High idle after warmed up 1500rpm I replaced FITV, checked for vacuum leaks, switched IACV still no luck

Temp gauge works but reads cold. Not sure if it is my radiator (Accord)

I need my ignition timing done because my timing light took a crap AND I dont exactly know where on this engine I put the light. On my old engine there was a window on the tranny.

ANY HELP would be GREAT!!

For idle, check your coolant temp sensor and oxygen sensors. They can both affect the idle. Is your throttle plate sticking?

Ignition timing is done on the crankshaft. Pick up any service manual or do a search on here.

Throttle plate is not stuck, I adjusted the screw on the lever. Good idea about the coolant temp sensor, because if my gauge is reading cold then it would give me a higher idle. Any more ideas?
