Default Cam setup in 00' Civic Si?

Im debating at what to do. I know I want to get cams next and plan on doing it before christmas. Here is the setup my friend gave me.

Skunk 2 Stage 2 cams
Skunk 2 Stage 2 cam gears
Skunk 2 Titanium Retainers
Skunk 2 Valve Springs
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold
CTR Pistons .25 Over Bored Pistons
Eagle Rods
Hondata Fuel Management
Ericks Racing Throttle Body

Ive read alot, and still learning alot, so using my signature and comparing to what kinda cam setup im being recommended, what do u think? Also, what other small and little parts am i gonna need to complete that setup if i go through with it? And i know skunk 2 stage 2 is the way i want to go, just wondering if the setup is gonna give me the best HP for my high speeds. And speaking of HP, what kinda hp gain am i looking at with this setup?

if you get it tuned properly, maybe 170, 175... if your going to buy rods, your better off getting forged pistons too, need a good 12:0 to get these cams to work good.

anywhere from 170-180whp.

There is a guy with an SI local making 193 with a VERY similair setup, (Jun III's, CTR pistons) in 00 SI.

Im running skunk2 stage II's in my SI as well, very happy with them.

Yeah, it's either oem rods+ ctr pistons of aftermarket rods and pistons....lighter pistons will make more power....the ctrs are the heaviest/biggest oe piston so you can imagine the contrast in power....

but you do not NEED 12.x compression for those cams, but it will defintly help.

*also consider not getting the ericks racing throttle body......whatever slight gain in hp up top is not worth the loss in velocity and lost low end power on a small B16...
