My friend was out in wisconsin for work... got his tires swapped on his golf. Anyhow, he told me about this new machine they have out there that has plugs that go into your sparkplug holes, and injects some chemical. It changes the chemical once every hour and IIRC they have your engine hooked up for 2 or 3 hours. Every 15 mins or so it cranks the engine over. It's suppose to remove carbon build-up and other crap... and they say it will help a ton on engines that are burning oil and/or feel like they have a loss in power.
Anyone hear of this before... or better yet ever tried it? Also, anyone know of a shop in the PA area that has one?

my local honda dealership has something similar, it uses a chemical to clean the oil pasages mostly, it hooks up between your oil filler cap, and oil drain plug. they can do it on any car. hell, i even took my BMW 318i to the Honda dealership to has this service performed, made a big difference in the performance, the BMW has nearly 120k on it and runs like new again
I've got 107,000 miles on my SI. I'm thinking this would be a good idea for me before putting the turbo on. How much was this? Cause then again, I'm building a spare block for higher boost levels and also have a spare head going out for work. But none of that will be done until about 6-8 months after the turbo is installed on the current motor.
