DSS Stage 5's vs Pro-Drive Stage 1's
Hey, just wanted to hear everyones comments/experiences with either one of these axle setups. Trying to get some info for what to run next season..Anyones info is welcome. Btw, the Dss 5's go for about $1350, and the Pro-drives go for about $1300. Both come with hubs and studs. Anyone?

Have to give one (or 2 or 3 votes for Pro Drives) All Car Doctor Cars run Pro Drive Stage 1s (Jason Coupe and CRX and my CRX) Jason has never had an issue with their axles in 2 years. I have had one issue but only because I bought them used and they were fucked when I got them (no thanks to angela Proudfoot). Brian

Trust me man, ive had awesome luck with stock axles, but for me, it aint gonna last forever, im tryin to make power, and most importantly, put it down. I might be switchin from 25's to 26's...thanks for the replies guys, keeep em commin!
I use DSS stage5 on 28"GoodYears and averaging 1.4's and 1.5 sixty foots all day long. had stage 1 Pro Drive before this great also with 26" goodyears. hub on DSS is custom spline and Pro Drive is Accord/PreLude. Im just poor because I buy whatever pro racer Jarrod Silvers has already used and sells to me. its called budget racing.
Ron i used to use stock axles with some beat up 26"GoodYears (3 owners ahead of me Tom Jung/ Leevon Eisele/Alan Camero and then me) and it was all cool.stock axles lasted me about 4 to 6 passes and then the would snap. once at 100mph against Tony Fuches and once against Brent Rau at 130+mph. crazy time stopping

Brian did not mention that the pro drive stage 1's that are in our crx and coupe, were in lisas car the season before, untill they upgraded to stage 2's, also the stage 1's use factory inners and outers, nice when you do break one you can fix it track side.... Jason
I say get whichever one that has a longer/better warranty...if the have one,I know my DSS Stage 3s came with a 6 month when I bought them like 2 years ago.

probally cause a all motor car dead hooks and almost can cause a twisting action, compared to a turbo car spinning more out the gate..... maybe.... it's a thought?
