Default need opinions...i searched! just want to know...crx w\ swap ?'s

ok my motor crapped out on me a couple weeks ago so i'm looking into a b-series swap. i loved my old SOHC D16A6. it was a fast little one. i have a 1988 Crx HF weighing at about 1820lbs i think it is? well yea best i ran was 14.9 with i\h\e. it averaged low low 15's tho. gotta love the lighest weighing crx of them all but yeah here is the dilemma. i found this cheap b18a almost complete swap for $750. only thing its an auto so i would need a cable ls tranny right? umm it comes with ecu but i guess i need a 5spd ls ecu and what about wiring harness? so i'm thinking maybe around $1200 for everything? or i was going to do a b16 swap which i got quoted at a shop for $2500 including install or i could pick one up for $1500 complete swap but i would of course need axles, shift linkage, mounts. so yeah...right now i'm leaning on the LS for $$$ reasons but the b16 does sound sweet to. just wanted to get some opinions. well thanks for your time...

lol i would but i already started parting out the car =/ hmmm another option would be to do the motor swap myself. tho i've never done a motor swap or anything close to that i am good with my hands and have done little jobs like header installs or whatever but nothing major like a motor swap. but i've been reading here on honda-tech for a long time now even before i joined and there is great info that would make the swap more easier. i also found this website called texas.clubsi.com/brandon/crx or something like that and its awesome! a swap around where i live(bay area, california) goes for around $2500 which isn't too bad(jdm B16) but i could get a complete swap for $1250 i think it was and do it myself and save over $1000. anyone live in the bay area familiar with a b-series swap? maybe could help me and i could pay or something? just a thought...
