vacuum lines
sometimes they can be a pain.....I recommend a little silicon lube, and if that still doesn't get it. Sometimes you just have to slice into them a bit and then replace them later with a new piece (0.10 at any auto store for the most part). I wound up doing that to one when I was installing my intake manifold.....the thing just wouldn't come off. You may also try strapping some man on with a pair of plyers ...but that's no fun either. *wispers* box cutter

just use some sort of pliers or channel locks or something and clamp onto where the line goes over the metal nipple. clamp down, and turn. it will break the line loose, then pull it right off.
