Default New rocker assemblies?

I'm getting ready to order parts for my B20/VTEC. I'm stuck right now on the head. I can get a used B16 head, or a new ITR head with internals. Is the new head worth the new rocker assemblies and rocker arms? I read froma recent thread that new rocker assemblies and rocker arms have some kind of benefit over used ones, the benefits are small, but benefits nonetheless.

What are your views on this? And I'm not looking for spend the money somewhere else. Just yes or no, and then your reason.

86mm bore, 89mm stroke, 12.8:1, DTR OTS200 header, AIR or RLZ IM, RLZ headwork. Daily driven engine that will see pretty frequent rr/ax events.

Default Re: New rocker assemblies? (Aquafina)

i would just re-use them, simply because they will get broken in again with the new cams, and i have never heard of any sort of failure, catastrophic or not, from re-using rocker arms. just check over them and make sure the pads dont have chips in them and what not.

reuse = from me
