infinity perfects components 6.5 fit in a crx? depth wise? will i be able to roll down my window? anyone have in car?

 

i have some infinity's in my CRX. I got the old model, not the kappa ones. Anyway theres a plastic piece in the door shaped like a bowl that the speaker screws into, youll have to cut the back out of it. Windows roll down fine though. Speaker grills wont fit back because of the tweeters. They also fit perfectly in the back with the brackets and the grilles fit on.

 

i got the kappas, and i couldnt roll the windows down all the way. still tryin to find time to make a large enough template to push the speakers out some.

Yes they do. Trim the back of the plastic "basket" the woofer fits in.

 

what speakers did you use clean90si? i didnt even use the plastic basket, and i still cant roll the windows down.

 

The same component set. The x-overs are even mounted in the doors. I'll take the grill off and take a pic.


I also don't want to mis-lead anyone but these are in a hatch. I don't think there is any difference. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
