how many of you guys have bikes and turbo hondas
i was just wondering if anybody else feels like their turbo car isn't as fun after a bike.my car is losing its luster everyday, especially with the maintence issues
i used to have a turbo honda does that count?
I sold the honda and got a wrx. Then got the bike a couple months after that. Still have the wrx, but really miss my honda.
Hopefully i will have another turbo honda later on in life.
btw, a bike is totally different than a turbo honda. i loved my honda but it doesnt compare to my bike.

i have a turbo GSR and a 1300cc bike.
bike is my speed fix. turbo is my hobby. i really like working on my turbo gsr its just a project for the mechanic in me. do not have enough time for it anymore. but i always hop on the bike

The car is fun in a straight line but the twisties are just pure enjoyment on the bike. My bike smokes my car in the straights but its just not as fun as drag racing the car.
I Got an '02 954 CBR RR and an '95 Accord with JDM H22A w/ Type-S Tranny soon Turbo but still pick the bike just ur on own world when your on the Bike .

i know you shouldn't be able to compare the to, but when your on a budget your forced too. i kinda want to sell my turbo stuff to buy a f4i, right now i'm riding a zx6e
i have a cbr600rr and a 95 civic dx with an LS-T motor which is blown and in the rebuild process as i speak. i have the bike for speed and the turbo because i love turbo!
I have an R6 and a b18bT and you can't compare the two. I think I'll probally sell the EG one day and get a somewhat practical pick up truck for track days or something.
I dont' know what type of comparison you're looking for but a stock bike will lay down sub 11 second 1/4's, requires the utmost concentration 24-7, and requires alot more skill to drive. A turbo car will not run sub 11's unless you have a fortune to spend, has lag, is four wheels vs two, can be driven like a normal car if you want to, doesn't have the redline height, etc... figure out what you want, if you want the turbo, keep the kawi and go turbo, if u want an f4i, forget the car or save for the turbo later
ya... i had that dilemma before i bought my bike.. i gotta h22 civic n/a rite now. i had enough to either put down on a bike or buy a turbo... then i figure.. if i getta turbo, chances are my car will be out of comission for a while... I NEED A VEHICLE. so i bought the bike instead..this way i can just save up for a turbo later on. and when that time comes.. hopefullly next summer, if the car is out of order, ill still have the bike to get around.
but on another note.. i dont think they are comparable either... bike vs turbo car... 2 totally different categories. i figure the car will never be as fast as the bike, especially if i wanna drive it around town... if i feel like my car is too slow, ill just jump on the bike... (never think ur car has to keep up with ur bike, that will lead u to all kinds of issues.)
dang speed demons... have so much problems.. ehhehe

yep, got a turbo Honda and a 600cc bike. bought the bike as something dependable, lol. but its fun, i like it, one of the guys i started riding with i realized was just in it for the image. the image is cool, but the thrill of riding is what it's all about, i like both the car and the bike, each gives you a rush, neither one the same, but they never leave you bored, thats for sure
speed is only 1/2 of the equation.
If the weather was always nice here and I never had to move anything bigger than myself...I would just ride everywhere.
That isn't the case and the car has its obvious benefits...roof, place to put stuff, comfortable seat. You can eat while driving, rather drive 12 hours than ride.

haha,i know what you mean!it's two totally different things though.i can get in my coupe, after being turbo'd for 4 years and riding for 3 years and it's still cool as hell.

I generally drive the car slower during the summer since I get speed fix on the bike. The fall/winter rolls around and the car starts going faster to make up for it.
I loved racing cars.... then I got into bikes. I've sold just about everything that had anything to do with my old turbo cars after stunt riding came into play. Something about drifting may bring me back.....
